Capital Airlines was the fifth largest airline company in the United States in 1950s. It was founded as Pennsylvania State Airlines in 1936. In 1948, it was renamed into Capital Airlines. It operated between 35 cities with about 150 flights a day from East Coast to Midwest. In 1961, Capital Airlines merged with United.
Project objective: to create a brand image, which would be inspired by 1950s, and to revive the best traditions of the Golden Age of Flying.
